Fans Rejoice as Travis Scott Reigns Supreme: ‘DAYS BEFORE RODEO’ Debuts at #1 on Billboard 200
While the saying 'old is gold' has mostly come to be associated with Taylor Swift in the music world, as she quite literally struck gold with the re-release of her album post the Scooter Braun fiasco. However, this did not remain much of a trade secret as Travis Scott, who in 2014 had blessed audiences with his arguable magnum opus in the form of 'Days Before Rodeo' announced that he will be re-releasing the album.
Following the re-release of the album, it took his fans worldwide barely thirty days to properly clock in and carry the album to #1 on the Billboard 200 charts, a feat that it had deserved to reach much earlier. Although the recognition has come late for this Scott masterpiece, it has come large, proving that sometimes even masterpieces need a second act to be seen.

Streaming success is not all that Travis Scott is enjoying with the re-release of his album as 'Days Before Rodeo' with its vinyl accounting for 149,000 of its 150,000 traditional album sales, has marked the greatest sales of vinyl rap album since 1991. As if this double-edged victory was not enough, Travis Scott has also successfully won the cat-and-mouse chase between him and Sabrina Carpernter, bringing 'Short n' Sweet' to No.2.
Travis Scott's claim to the throne with 'Days Before Radio' in the current music scenario where today’s charts might as well be tomorrow’s landfill has proven to his fans that what they had at their hands in 2014 was timeless musical genius at best.
Travis Scott wins the rodeo with 'Days Before Radio' years after release
As he has made it clear several times, especially this year-round, Travis Scott is officially Ye, formerly known as Kanye West's prodigy. This prodigal son of Ye, much like the Atlanta rapper himself, was churning out his best work around the early 2010s and 'Days Before Rodeo' is proof of the same. While it did not do much for the rapper at that time, the album ultimately has gotten its due recognition. Late though it may be, fans are reveling in the coronation.
Fans marveled at how the artist marked such an achievement despite the album having been released years ago, while others remarked how he will now be riding the success wave all the way to the rodeo.
