The full lineup for Coachella 2024 is out! Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat will be the main acts at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The ska band No Doubt, fronted by Gwen Stefani, will also be making a comeback for the first time since 2015. Del Rey will take the stage on April 12 and 19, joined by other performers, including Sabrina Carpenter, and more. The organizers of Coachella are hoping things go more smoothly with the headliners this year.

Additionally, YouTube is back as the only place to livestream both weekends on the official Coachella channel. There were also talks about Dua Lipa and Shakira possibly headlining the event. However, Dua Lipa had to back out due to timing, and it looked like the organizers decided not to go with Shakira, as per Variety. This time around, Coachella is making a comeback after a fantastic year for live music. All three main performers have been at Coachella before.

Del Rey was last there in 2014 and was supposed to perform in 2020, but Covid got in the way. Doja Cat hit the Coachella stage in 2022, and Tyler, the Creator has been a regular since his debut in 2011 with his hip-hop group Odd Future. He also did solo sets in 2015 and 2018 and made guest appearances with other artists like Earl Sweatshirt, Schoolboy Q, and Latin soul singer Kali Uchis.

Fans’ mixed reactions to the 2024 Coachella lien-up

It is no secret that Coachella fans have a history of disappointment. Last year, a delayed start, an early finish, no live stream, and a perplexing stage set-up left fans irked after Frank Ocean’s first live performance in six years. The announcement’s tardiness, just a stone’s throw away from the April festival, ignited debates among users. They discussed the lateness of the announcement and debated the underwhelming aspect of the projected lineup.

Meanwhile, some believed that the lower-billing artists, including Sabrina Carpenter, were more exciting than the headliners.

Despite other sentiments, fans were still overjoyed about their chosen favorite artists, and Lana Del Rey was undeniably one of the highlights.
