With an earning of $461.2 million, Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour has taken the world by storm. The tour broke all the records and emerged as the highest-grossing by any female or black artist, inviting many who’s who of Hollywood. Recently, Hollywood’s most adorable couple, Tom Holland and Zendaya, were seen in attendance at Queen Bey’s concert. They arrived with their friends, Quinta Brunson and Ayo Edebiri, and hung out at the musical renaissance. 

What became the talk of the town, however, was how well they understood Beyoncé’s “mute challenge”, which has become a thing in her fandom. A video of them nailing the challenge has been surfacing on the internet, cracking everyone up.

Zendaya and Tom Holland understood the assignment

The It couple of Hollywood appeared at Beyoncé’s birthday show in LA, which featured the Music icon Diana Ross singing Happy Birthday to the ‘Speak My Mind’ creator. Lucky fans even got their hands on the limited edition airbrush-style birthday shirts from Beyoncé’s merch line. However, the Spider-Man co-stars took the limelight by acing the mute challenge. A fan captured a video in which the celebrity couple belted out the lyrics of ‘Energy’. And the moment when the Grammy Award winner performed the line “Look around everybody on mute”, both the stars went silent.

While Zendaya muted herself with a finger to her lips, her 27-year-old boyfriend flung his hand skyward, taking the challenge very seriously. They did not only nail the trend but also stayed in line with the dress code. The ‘4’ creator asked her fans to wear silver on the show. In response to the plea, Zendaya showed up in a silver crop top and skirt set and paired it up with an oversized jacket. Meanwhile, Holland wore a ‘Renaissance’ t-shirt and opted for leather pants.

Fans’ hilarious reaction to Tom and Zendaya’s clip

A Twitter page @beyoncegarden shared this widely circulated video and captioned it saying “NOT ZENDAYA & TOM HOLLAND UNDERSTANDING THE MUTE ASSIGNMENT OH ICONIC”. This left the couple’s fans in awe and they flooded the internet with heartfelt comments for them. While most of the fans found the video “cute”, some had a less favorable reaction, saying that the stars were acting childish. 

Amid the heartwarming comments, some went on to nitpick irrelevant details from the video. They accused Holland of cheating based on his eye movements. Some fans even felt they saw celebrities like Kim Kardashian in the crowd.

There were also a few comments that pointed out the inappropriateness of capturing celebrities when they are sharing a private moment. Additionally, some loyal Queen Bey fans were upset about the Spider-Man stars taking the spotlight on her birthday.

While only time will tell if Beyoncé will out-earn the billion-dollar estimated tour of Taylor Swift, it is safe to say that both stars are making a big splash with their talent and stardom.
