Fans Go Feral as Ye and Ty Dolla $Ign Allegedly Take up on a 2-Year-Old Song Revival, With 'Vultures 2' on Hold
A new day, a new struggle to bear with for Ye, previously known as Kanye West fans. While controversies have been touching the ceiling around the rapper, music leaks, inside scoops and album updates have further made it difficult for Ye fans to hold on. Pausing an ongoing album update, to bring back a years-old forgotten piece is indeed a Ye job. Having kept the audience on edge for the slightest updates on the album drop, Ye has chosen to fool around with his fandom, yet again for another arbitrary song update.
In fact, Ye seems to be more poised to take up every job than releasing the much-awaited album. As of now, according to an update on X by one of his fan accounts, Ye along with his 'Vulture’s collaborator TY Dolla $ign are supposedly working on a song called 'City on the Sky'. It was reportedly recorded during their 'Yandhi' studio sessions back in 2022.

The update also said that a snippet of the song surfaced with what appears to be SZA or Summer Walker. No further responses have been received from West or TY Dolla. Nonetheless, fans have shown a mixed reaction to the duo’s decision. While no such fan enthusiasm could be felt, others have shown downright frustration in the release plans of an unreleased song.
As shocked as they were, a couple of others took a minute to try and believe the news.
Ye adds to fans' frustration only getting a pass riding on SZA's coattails
Almost all reactions had one common ground, and that is the excitement they bore for SZA to feature in the song. While some have claimed that a song as good as a SZA feature would hit differently, others are in disbelief given Ye’s unprecedented turn of events. “He's releasing his best-unreleased song?” asked another user, another hoped Ye would rope in Kid Cudi as well as the cherry on top.
Despite the frustration owing to the continuous delays, few fans managed to muster up the courage once again to say "I will be there."

Needless to say, Ye West fans are champing at the bit for 'Vultures 2', but the mercurial rapper has been distracted by other projects and controversies, leaving the song's release date uncertain. Despite the anticipation, West's recent antics have pushed the song's drop further out of sight, leaving fans in frustration, yet again.
