Fans Cry for the End of an Era as Ye Dishes Out Against Close Friend Travis Scott in an X Outrage

For almost a decade, rap legends Travis Scott and Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, have been collaborators and friends. Beyond their chart-topping collaborations, they have also shared a personal connection through their reality royalty exes. But it seems, their years-long friendship and mentor-mentee bond has now run its course. Ye recently went off on Scott over X with some cutting remarks, possibly leaving breadcrumbs to the root of their fallout along the way, too.

In the past few hours, Ye has made his social media his new therapy couch to air out his thoughts. Suddenly, he is highly active on X, and has inundated the platform with a barrage of posts. Ye also mentioned Travis Scott in one of them. “I WAS TRYING TO THINK OF A TRAVIS TWEET BUT THEN I JUST DIDNT CARE,” wrote the ‘Donda’ rapper. Then, about an hour later, he dropped another post on X, listing all the rappers who "never crossed" him in any way.

The list had names like Young Thug, Playboi Carti, Quavo, A$AP Rocky, A$AP Nast, and Eminem. But Scott was not on it. The 'UTOPIA' artist also unfollowed Ye following the rant. While Ye was taking shots at Scott, he was defending another friend on his X, which took the internet by surprise. Fans, of course, are now left in a state of bewilderment, trying to make sense of the recent flood of information on Ye’s X.

Fans have also seemingly lost their grip on defending Ye's antics and are now starting to question him instead.

Fans are confused by Ye's aim at his long-time friend Travis Scott

This was not the first time Ye went on a rant on X and dragged Travis Scott into it. Back in 2018, Ye accused Scott of threatening him. He posted, "I hit Trav earlier today...Now he just hit me...More threats." After that, they eventually made up and moved on. But now, fans are noticing a pattern. They are getting tired of Ye’s social media outbursts and have had enough of the drama. They just want him to stop with these antics and focus on something else.

Many fans were disappointed by the thought that Ye and Scott's once-solid partnership might be lost for good. "End of an era," fans wrote.

It is hard to say how long Ye’s rants on X will continue. He clearly has a lot on his mind and will not rest until he has said everything he needs to say. But it is clear that what was once considered a humorous and unfiltered personality is now starting to grate on the nerves of fans.
