Fans Claim Kendrick Lamar Stole Their Tweets for the Drake Diss Track

The rap feud may have begun with Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole. However, with its fueling into a full-throttle battleground, the fireworks soon landed on the doorsteps of Drake, followed by Ye (formerly Kanye West). Presently, the battlefield has again borne confinement with Lamar and Drizzy taking in the spotlight with consecutive slam tracks, and as of now; the beef has gotten limited to this duo. However, following Lamar’s latest track, ‘Not Like Us’, fans have grown a bitter temperament with numerous claims flooding socially for allegedly thieving their tweets.

When Kendrick Lamar dropped his latest diss track ‘Not Like Us’ targeting Drake, it became a fan favorite in minutes, toppling off Taylor Swift to claim the throne to Apple Music’s Top 5. However, the air of energy soon turned into dismay with X swarming with claims from fans that Lamar allegedly used their tweets to make his diss track on Drake. Not just one, but several users were echoing similar stances, with some planting evidence and others asking for "royalties".

As the fans were majorly outing their frustration on threads, the social radar quickly got divided, with one siding with Lamar and the other taunting him. Bearing in mind that the track became a hit with little ado, it is natural that fans may have learned the lyrics by heart. However, with the claims making the scene so chaotic, it prompts the question of whether it could make Lamar lose momentum.

The Kendrick Lamar-Drake beef has made quite the rounds globally. Not so long ago, fans were even convinced that Lamar has had the last laugh in this one despite no final scrutiny. However, with the change in air, it makes one wonder if the fans who crowned Lamar themselves have now shifted allegiances in the wake of these accusations.

Many fans, who were supportive of the claims, were of the stance that this was even worse than "having ghostwriters". However, the ones on Lamar’s side quickly retorted with counter-slams, questioning the authenticity of this far-fetched allegation.

A few others believed that those pointing fingers were already from Drake’s fanbase because the Lamar fans were there to back up their figure of inspiration. Yet, the thread was divided on a different level, as it seemed like the feud finally landed from the artists to the fans. However, if Lamar soon addresses this chaos and cleans the air for the better, the fans on his side could keep their heads held high. Hence, all that remains is his take on this.
