The music video for ‘Taste,’ featuring Jenna Ortega, also showed a fierce clash between two women over a man. And many believe that Ortega in the video played Cabello, while Rohan Campbell played Mendes. Carpenter even performed the track at the VMAs, right in front of the ex-couple, which led to some of the most talked-about moments at the VMAs. Therefore, when Cabello muted the word “taste” during her iHeartRadio Music Festival performance, it was seen as a subtle hint aimed at the ‘Espresso’ artist and her song.

And after the 'Havana' singer's iHeartRadio performance, the speculation about these two artists beefing has only intensified.
