The rapper from Atlanta is forging his staircase to success in the record industry with palpable beats and curious new updates. As ‘Vultures’ was released across all streaming platforms, his feature alliance with Lil Durk was hitting the waves of controversy over antisemitic remarks. Following the event, there were also rumors of Durk being snubbed for his verse. Although the re-released version did put an end to all rumors, recent updates cue the possibility of Kanye West buying Durk out of his contract.

As per sources’ revelations to TMZ, Ye is currently in talks about buying out Durk’s contract with Alamo Records. Apparently, Lil Durk’s involvement in West’s upcoming album is not limited to ‘Vultures’ alone. After the drop, Todd Moscowitz, the CEO of Alamo Records, declined to clear Lil Durk for another song that he worked on for Ye’s upcoming album. As a result, the ‘Donda’ rapper has allegedly taken responsibility for the “paperwork battle”.

While the paperwork is allegedly getting sorted, Ye has been spotted many times lately exploring with the feature collaborators Ty Dolla $ign and Lil Durk on his Middle Eastern sojourn. Although Durk’s involvement had been a little foggy since his absence at the Abu Dhabi bash, the fog was cleared with his attendance at the F1 after-party scenes and his diner shenanigans with West and Censori. Durk also performed ‘Vultures’ live with Ye, Ty Dolla $ign, and Bump J at Blu Dubai nightclub over the weekend.

At a time when the alliance was taking the semblance of rock-hardness, Ye’s plans to secure Durk’s contract for his upcoming album could be just the testament fans required. Needless to say, fans have been ecstatic to see the bond unfolding and sustaining so well.
