Many artists and podcasters have presumed that this album will bring back the rapper to the top echelons of the music industry. Sadly, the pushbacks have only brought disappointment for fans. But amid the impending release, a childhood video of the singer has caught the eyes of fans.

Only hours back, a fan page of Kanye West on Instagram posed a decades-old video of him. It featured 12-year-old Ye taking the podium and reading a poem. The ‘Praise Gold’ singer first introduced himself and revealed the title of the poem, His Name is Love. He dedicated his poem to the American Baptist minister, activist, and political philosopher Martin Luther King Jr.

The page shared this moment in honor of the birthday of this iconic figure pointing out that the Grammy winner once paid tribute to him. In his poem, West praised the activist for his revolutionary works for people of color in the United States. This video resurfaced after the much-awaited album ‘Vultures’ surprised fans with a new advertisement. 

Now this video has attracted the attention of fans, who instantly noted that he was an artist right from a young age.

Kanye West fans were surprised to see how remarkable he was even as a child when he narrated a poem for Martin Luther King Jr. The first fans gushed over the iconic rapper and wrote: “Bro was rhyming even back then”. A second fan joined in and commented, “That’s a good poem.” The third one shared the sentiment and stated: “The little kid genius!!! Love it”. Someone else added, “Got the same attitude as king during that speech”. Another proposed an idea for the poem and remarked, “This as a sample would go CRAZY”.

Though the continuous delay in the release of his latest album has disheartened fans, this did not stop them from praising him. These moments state that no matter what Kanye West does, fans will always have a soft corner for him. The impact he has created with his music is everlasting and people cannot overlook his contribution. As for his new album, ‘Vultures’ is now slated for a release on February 19th.
