Fandom War Rages as Sabrina Carpenter and Travis Scott Deploy Their Album Variants to Seize #1 Spot

Travis Scott and Sabrina Carpenter are locked in a fierce battle to claim the coveted #1 spot on the charts. Both artists collided with their releases this month. While Scott dusted off his decade-old mixtape ‘Days Before Rodeo,’ Carpenter dropped her sixth studio album, ‘Short N' Sweet.’ But even before them, their fans had already jumped into a full-blown war. And it would not be wrong to say that the rising pop star’s camp has a bit more firepower in terms of support.

Sabrina Carpenter recently dropped a revamped version of her 2024 album with an additional track titled ‘Busy Woman,’ along with some exclusive digital bonus tracks for ‘Needless to Say’ and ‘Taste.’ However, as soon as she unleashed her latest digital version of 'Taste (Demo)', Travis Scott countered her with five digital editions of his mixtape ‘Days Before Rodeo’ on his website. This clash eerily mirrors the same duel that went down between Carpenter’s and Scott’s mentors.

Taylor Swift and Ye, aka Kanye West, also locked horns in a battle for #1 earlier this year. The reason being, just hours after Ye finally dropped his long-awaited album ‘Vultures 2,’ following months of delays, Taylor Swift dropped a fresh digital edition of ‘The Tortured Poets Department.’ And now, the protégés are following in the footsteps of these music titans as well.

Fans Declare “war” as Ye and Taylor Swift Clash for #1 Spot With Their Arsenal of Variants

Carpenter and Scott have sparked a war on the web, although it is quite clear whose fanbase is gaining the upper hand in this showdown.

Sabrina Carpenter and Travis Scott battle it out for the #1 spot on the chart

Sabrina Carpenter has been gathering massive fan support not just from her own fanbase but also from Taylor Swift's. In fact, Swifties have made it their mission to ensure that their Taydaughter does not get overshadowed by a mixtape that dropped 10 years ago. And even in this fan war, the feelings were much the same. Many fans accused Travis Scott of being "desperate" in response to his variant releases.

Sabrina Carpenter was showered with immense love and support, while some fans did not even realize that Travis Scott had released anything in the first place.

Scott, nonetheless, managed to keep his loyal fans standing by him. They accused Carpenter of being "desperate" instead.
