Even After Having 19 Less Grammys Than Kanye West, Drake Is Still Beating the Donda Maker in This Record Every Single Day
Despite having a lot of controversial drama around him, Kanye West certainly has one genius thing that is consistent. It is his brilliant music. Since 2008, the Chicago rapper has had a gigantic influence in the hip-hop industry. Often, this world can get extremely competitive and can create beef between artists. One friend-turned-rival of Ye is a famous artist, Drake. Despite starting after the ‘Donda’ maker, Drake has been winning in this area every single day.
When Drake was getting started in his career, he stated he drew inspiration from the 46-year-old artist. Additionally, he also mentioned he did not want to be like Ye because Drake wanted to surpass everything that Ye did. It seems his dream came true, after all. Despite the Yeezy owner having more awards than Drake, he still stood at the #2 position on the list. Although there was an instance when the Donda maker stood at the top of this list and beat artists like Drake and Travis Scott. But currently, the scenario is reversed. However, Kanye West is not far from the 36-year-old artist. Notably, West has a whopping 24 Grammys to his name while Drake has won only five.
Surprisingly, both these rappers have worked wonders together. When they were at the beginning of their careers, Ye and Drake worked flawlessly together. Nevertheless, their friendship turned sour, and they both parted ways. Although there is tougher competition between these artists now, their collaborations are still in the hearts of their fans.
