Taylor Swift is about to bring her epic Eras Tour to an end very soon. With her last three concerts in Vancouver just around the corner, fans are biting their nails at the thought of getting- or, more importantly, not getting- tickets. Amid the anticipation and nervousness, the pop star has decided to give her fans a little more hope by opening up additional ticket slots for her remaining shows, offering them a chance to attend the Eras Tour at a much lower price. But, of course, there is a twist.

Ticketmaster has recently made some extra seats available for the final three concerts of the Eras Tour, and they are priced at just $15. While that sounds like a dream deal, these tickets are for what they call 'no-view' seats. This means that fans who buy them will not be able to see Swift perform on stage. Instead, they will only be able to listen to the show and, if they are lucky, connect with other Swifties in the audience.

The craze for the Eras Tour and the intense competition to secure tickets has become so massive that it has even led to scams and exploitation of innocent fans. Back in October, the organizers of the Eras Tour announced that tickets for the remaining shows would only be made available three days before each concert. Additionally, they would only become transferable at that time. And now, the decision to introduce no-view tickets for the Eras Tour has sparked some very mixed reactions from fans.

While some fans are thrilled at the chance to attend the show, even if it means they will only hear the performance, others are calling out the sheer strangeness of the idea.

Swifties weigh in on no-view tickets for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour

Over the past year, Swifties have gone to unimaginable lengths to get even a glimpse of the Eras Tour. One popular trend that emerged is the concept of 'Taylor-gating,' where fans gather in parking lots or other areas near Eras Tour venues to sing along to Taylor Swift’s songs without actually entering the stadium. Meanwhile, others have resorted to streaming the shows live. But Swifties are doing whatever they can to feel connected to the experience, even from afar. And they are reacting to the no-view tickets in a similar way.

Some, however, have pointed out whether it is really worth spending money on tickets when they will not even be able to see the show.

Whether these tickets are a thoughtful gesture to include fans who might not have been able to attend the Eras Tour otherwise or just a strategic move by the stakeholders is debatable. But regardless of the intent, the hype surrounding the Eras Tour and the lengths fans are willing to go to secure any kind of ticket have turned these no-view options into a major talking point among Swifties.
