Ed Sheeran’s Special Autumn Album Shares A Special Connection to His Good Friend Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran’s friendship stands strong even after a decade. Fans saw the platonic duo singing praises for each other on multiple occasions. As per the ‘Shape of You’ singer, the reason he gets along so well with Swift is because she is the only person who gets him. He told Zane Lowe on his Apple Music podcast how he can have “long, long, long conversations” with the ‘August’ singer. Their last collaboration, ‘End Game’, was a banger, to say the least, and received platinum certifications in Australia, Canada, and the US.

Following the release of ‘Subtract’, the 32-year-old singer is back with another upcoming hit ‘Autumn Variations’, which will be released on September 29. The ‘Anti-hero’ creator collaborated with Dessner for multiple albums, including ‘Folklore’ for which the 47-year-old record producer also won a Grammy Award in 2021. Apart from this, he also produced and ‘evermore.’ He also co-wrote the song ‘Ivy’ with Swift and performed it with her during a Saturday show in Cincinnati. However, Dessner is not the only point of connection between Sheeran and Swift.
Apart from their mutual connection with Dessner, both Sheeran and Swift were offered to perform at the Bowl but turned it down due to their own reasons.
