Kendrick Lamar and Drake have been two of the most talked-about names in the hip-hop world this year. The obvious reason is their beef, which single-handedly revived the competitive spirit of the hip-hop arena after years of stagnation. However, the aftermath turned into a nightmare for Drake. While Lamar came out on top in the showdown with a bunch of hit tracks and a heap of acclaim, Drake found himself with a mountain of allegations and controversies. Still, it seems there is one area where Drizzy stands tall and undefeated.

Spotify recently got a coveted list of rankings, and it appears Kendrick Lamar is too far behind Drake to bring any real challenge.

A list of rappers with the most songs over 100 million streams on Spotify just recently popped up on X, thanks to Hip Hop All Day. While Kendrick Lamar had 81 songs in that club, Drake is in a league of his own with a whopping 253 tracks. That said, this also has to do with the fact that Drake has a lot more songs under his belt compared to Lamar. Nevertheless, the ‘Rich Baby Daddy’ artist is still maintaining his position as the most-streamed male artist in Spotify's history.

In the recent rankings, Drake was trailed by Travis Scott, followed by Ye, aka Kanye West. And not just among the rappers- across Spotify as a whole, Drake is leading with 101 billion all-time streams, followed by Taylor Swift at 88 billion, Bad Bunny at 83 billion, The Weeknd at 67 billion, and Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber both at 54 billion. But that does not mean Lamar is not giving Drake a run for his money in the streaming game.

Kendrick Lamar Edges Past Drake With Yet Another Record While Their Beef Fades Into the Past

Earlier this year, Lamar took down one of Drake’s biggest hits on Spotify with the very diss track he used to call out the ‘IDGAF’ rapper.

Back in July, Kendrick Lamar's 'Not Like Us' became the fastest rap song to reach 500 million streams on Spotify. With this milestone, he beat a record that Drake's 'God's Plan' used to hold. The track also broke the single-day streaming record for a hip-hop song, which was another record of Drake's. And then, the Pulitzer winner pulled ahead of Drake again by having the second-most monthly listeners on Spotify.

Even after ‘Not Like Us’ was named a crowd favorite right when it dropped and on Spotify later, Kendrick Lamar performed it five times in a row at The Pop Out: Ken And Friends. But he was not done yet. The rapper also released a music video that brutally humiliated Drake in a very cryptic way. However, it seems it will take some time before Lamar catches up to Drake’s number of songs with 100 million streams.
