Drake Drops a Taylor Swift Sized Whip on Kendrick Lamar Amidst the Ongoing Beef
As most of last year, the pioneers of Hip Hop got together to celebrate time and again the essence of this musical kingdom, something seemed to be missing. Now, as 2024 rolls around and all the golden rappers of the generation have jumped in to malign each other with the most savage diss tracks, fans cannot help but identify it as the real essence of Hip Hop. Front lining this battle of words are none other than Drake, J. Cole, and Kendrick Lamar.
While J. Cole has bowed out of the game, Drake had been cosplaying a Thanos prepping to throw his gauntlet. That is, until just a few hours ago when he put out what can also be called a Taylor-made burn suit for Lamar.

As every well-known artist ranging from Metro Boomin and Future to even The Weeknd huddled up to corner Drake, fans were sure that the result would either be a proverbial bloodbath or a silent bow out by Drizzy. It seems from his latest Instagram post that the rapper has chosen to go with the former. Drake's track was captioned 'Taylor Made Freestyle' where he goes on to institute that Kendrick Lamar lacks courage and needs Taylor Swift's approval.
The Grammy-winning singer also dispelled all rumors of him being scared regarding the ongoing beef with the rappers as he wrote, “𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝘄𝗼, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂." This only seems to be the tip of the iceberg as Kendrick Lamar and Drake have a history that goes way back.
Presumably Hip Hop's biggest rap battle in recent times may have just started now, but the foundation for this battle goes back all the way to 2012.

Drake and Kendrick Lamar had never been the best of buddies, but the beef was not in the open until Kendrick Lamar dropped what many describe as 'the industry-shaking verse' in 'Control' back in 2013. He wrote, "And nothing been the same since they dropped Control and tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes," the sensitive rapper in question being Drake. At that time Drizzy just brushed it off, but it seems now that he never forgot.
In his recently released track 'Push Ups', Drake did not leave any stone unturned as he took on Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, Metro Boomin, and J. Cole, as well. With neither Drake nor Lamar ready to backtrack from their statements, and even speculation about Ye having been on a remix of 'Like That' that re-ignited the entire beef, fans are both thrilled and nervous to watch this rap battle of a lifetime unfold.
