What followed was a frenzy of comments, with fans from various continents defending their loyalty to Ye. The lively discussion has racked up serious engagements, with some defending their own and others putting dirt on each other. 

The heated debate ensued as international fans attempted to outdo the dedication of Ye's Chinese followers. However, the hometown fans, who have weathered the rapper's most controversial moments, refused to back down. While they proudly cited their unwavering support through Ye's infamous antics, followers still had a significant amount of kudos left to bestow upon the Chinese fans given the hype for the rapper's welcome, after a whole decade.

While some felt overwhelmed while imagining the love showered on Ye from a country he does not belong to, his hometown fans rivaled how none can love the rapper more than them. While they accept Chinese fans have a good deal of patience, “no fan base can dethrone his hometown fans,” one said. Nonetheless, a couple of them went beyond their better judgment to declare Chinese fans the winner. 

The battle among the fans had long started, but a good chunk of the page had followers simply feeling proud of their idol.

The American rapper is set to perform in a few hours from now at Haikou City, Hainan Province, China on Sunday, September 15, 2024. The highly anticipated concert has generated immense excitement, with tickets selling out twice since they went on sale. Fans are eagerly looking forward to Ye's live performance, making this event a complete sell-out success even before it takes place.
