“Disrespect is crazy”- NFR Podcast Gets Major Backlash Over "perfect" Rapper Ranking by Ye Fans
Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, is not new to the game. The rapper has undergone the cycle of falling and getting back up on his feet multiple times in his career. While the peak might come to some with practice, for Ye, that was never the case, as he has remained at the peak ever since the beginning.
The Atlanta rapper's iconic "I guess we will never know," winning speech at the 47th Annual Grammy is proof of just how unbeatable he was in rap. While in recent times, this status might have fluctuated with some feeling the rapper is allegedly washed out, the truth of the matter, according to the majority of fans, remains that his discography is unmatchable. Therefore, while ranking the Best & Worst Rap Discographies Tier List 2024, when the NFR Podcast host did not place the rapper in the "Perfect" tier, it ruffled the giant's feathers.

Ye's grand musical comeback 'Vultures' had been highly anticipated owing to the taste of his musical genius that still latched on to his fandom's ears as well as his absence from the public eye altogether. Perhaps it was the high expectation regarding the same, or just a case of a perfect artist hitting one or two bad notes, but 'Vultures' had fans divided.
The Ye fandom may have been divided over various things recently, ranging from whether he looks pissed or sunny in Japan to his music releases, but they stood united as they saw their favorite rapper's art being neglected.

A crucial fountain of inspiration in almost every emerging impactful artist's musical journey, Ye's dominant grasp over his craft is not news to anyone. The rapper always possessed the talent to present something that aligns with his inner self: unconventional and unmatched. Therefore, as the host from the NFR podcast, discussed rappers' discographies ranging from Drake to Kendrick Lamar and Ye, only to proceed to place Ye in the second 'Amazing' tier while placing Lamar in the 'Perfect' tier, fans remarked that the "disrespect is crazy."
Fans argued that despite the rapper having bombed his recent releases, the amount of "classics" that he has graced the audiences with simply cannot be ignored. Furthermore, Yefanatics suggested that the podcast should have simply called their top tier as "exceptional" instead of "perfect." They pointed out how Ye's first good run lasted twelve years and ranged from 'The College Dropout' to 'The Life of Pablo', remarking how "nobody is touching that consistency and quality."
