Did Ye Really Sell His $14 Million Wyoming Ranch? Report Suggests Surprising Details About the Deal
Ye (formerly Kanye West) has a wide range of interests beyond music and fashion. When he’s not focused on a groundbreaking musical comeback or his ongoing ambitions in the fashion world, the Atlanta rapper enjoys indulging in two main areas: either expanding his impressive collection of luxurious properties or adding to his garage, possibly with another Cybertruck. However, in an unfortunate twist, Ye has had to sell several properties this year, including his $14 million Wyoming ranch.
In a more intriguing development, new and surprising details have emerged about the deal, raising doubts about whether the ranch was indeed one of the properties he parted with.

Ye purchased the 4,524-acre Wyoming ranch in 2019 for $8 million, despite its original value of $14 million, and subsequently listed the property for $11 million in 2021. A report from Hayden Outdoors indicated the property, known as Monster Lake Ranch, changed hands in June for an undisclosed amount. However, recent land records from the Park County assessor, highlighted by Cowboy State Daily, reveal all three parcels of Monster Ranch are still listed under Ye's LLC, Psalm Cody Ranch.
A representative from the County Assessor’s Office informed the outlet that it is possible the sale of Monster Lake Ranch has not yet been recorded. However, they also noted that this is unlikely, as it is uncommon for a sale to remain unrecorded for such an extended period. Additionally, Park County records list the Wyoming ranch as 3,884.74 acres, while the Hayden Outdoors Real Estate listing cites it as 4,524 acres.
The listing agent from Hayden Outdoors has reportedly addressed the discrepancy, and here is their response.

According to Cowboy State Daily, Bill Vacek, the listing agent for Ye’s Wyoming property with Hayden Outdoors, stated that he could not clarify the reported discrepancy nor confirm whether or when the Monster Lake Ranch was listed or sold. The Hayden Outdoors listing describes the ranch in one place as a 792-acre parcel featuring eight cabins, two homes, an onsite restaurant, a lounge, and various horse barns, corrals, and storage areas.
The listing, however, also shows both deeded and leased acres as zero, while another section at the top states the ranch is 4,524 acres, creating confusion about what exactly has been sold. Although Ye had ambitious plans for the ranch, including creating a prefabricated, affordable design, many fans were disappointed when he put the property up for sale. Now, with the discrepancies between earlier and recent reports, it remains unclear whether the ranch is still his or has been sold to someone else.
