Despite Raking in $2 Billion With Eras Tour, Taylor Swift Fails to Breach Top 10 for Year-End Song Revenue Chart
Pop sensation Taylor Swift is now the world's richest female musician, with a net worth of $1.6 billion. A big slice of that pie comes from her two-billion-dollar-grossing Eras Tour. And the rest of the fortune comes from her valuable music catalog and savvy business moves, like re-recording her earlier albums to wrestle back control of her own music. But even with all these big-money moves, the pop star has not quite managed to rake in the kind of revenue she might have hoped for.
Taylor Swift recently missed out on a spot in the 2024 year-end song revenue chart, while many rising stars climbed their way up the ranks.

The 2024 year-end song revenue chart recently made its way to X via Hits Daily Double. But when it comes to the top 10 artists, Taylor Swift was nowhere to be seen. Meanwhile, artists who broke out just last year, like Sabrina Carpenter, made the list with her summer hit, ‘Espresso.’ Shaboozey’s ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy),’ topped the list, which pulled in 7.55 million US year-end sales in 2024.
Swift released 'The Tortured Poets Department 'last year, and from that album, her song ‘Down Bad’ was one of the biggest earners in 2024. Interestingly, last year, the album topped the RIAA's albums and singles charts, alongside the very revenue topping track of Shaboozey, ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy).’ But it looks like, over the past month, Shaboozey’s revenue from the track has surged past Swift’s. Still, while Swift’s taking a break from the spotlight, she is busy making smart moves elsewhere.
For instance, Swift recently gave one of her luxurious properties a million-dollar makeover, which has added a few more zeros to its value.
Taylor Swift’s property empire just got a major boost in value
As 2025 kicked off, the first thing Taylor Swift was reportedly up to was giving her Rhode Island mansion a big-time $1.7 million renovation. It was the same mansion she bought back in 2013 for a mind-blowing $17.75 million. The property is one of her favorite getaway spots, where she loves to host her Hollywood BFFs like Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. Just a few weeks after the news about the renovation broke, an updated appraisal of the property showed its value had jumped significantly.

Now, the mansion is worth a whopping $27.8 million, according to Zillow. That makes this Rhode Island gem one of her smartest real estate investments yet. But that does not mean that Swift has just been focusing on properties lately. In fact, as her NFL boyfriend Travis Kelce recently hinted, she is also busy cooking up some new music. So, before we know it, Taylor Swift will be back at the top of the charts again.
