Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo’s relationship has been put under the microscope enough by fans. The two pop stars, who have always sung each other's praises, are now constantly pitted against each other for alleged similarities in their creation and style. Whether or not there is any truth to the rumored cold war that the pop queens are said to have been embroiled in for years, they recently found themselves in a face-off yet again at the Kids' Choice Awards of 2024.

While both songstresses have bagged awards, Taylor Swift seems to have stolen the thunder from Olivia Rodrigo with more wins.

Olivia Rodrigo received two awards at this year's Kids’ Choice Awards. She won in the Favorite Album category for 'GUTS', surpassing Swift’s 'The Tortured Poets Department'. Along with that, Rodrigo also scored the Favorite Female TV Star (Kids) award for her role as Nini on High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift won three awards, including Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Global Music Star from North America and Favorite Ticket of the Year for The Eras Tour.

This was the third time Swift won the Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Global Music Star awards at the Kids’ Choice Awards. The event became all the more special for Swift as even her NFL boyfriend, Travis Kelce, won an award for Favorite Male Sports Star. As fans continue to pit the two female artists against each other, despite them denying any fallout accusations, it is noteworthy that this is not the only time Swift has faced accusations of feuding with her contemporaries.

Taylor Swift has always been loved for being a girl's girl. However, somehow the singer keeps inadvertently getting herself in the midst of imaginary feuds with her fellow songstresses. Earlier this year, Sabrina Carpenter, who has been a part of Swift's Eras Tour, landed in feud rumors with the 'Fearless' singer after she did a campaign for Kim Kardashian's brand, SKIMS. However, Carpenter later cleared the air with Rolling Stone, confirming that her decision did not lead to any drama between the two.

Swift was also accused of trying to unfairly overshadow Billie Eilish on the charts after the 'bad guy' singer called out singers who mindlessly release multiple vinyl records. Although Eilish shut down rumors of her throwing shade at Swift, fans still went on with feud speculations. Now whether these beef rumors have any water in them or are just the industry's age-old traps designed to pit women against other women is still something to think about.
