The Kendrick Lamar-Drake debate has gone long enough for fans and big-impact personas to remain just bystanders and not participate. Yet, numbers speak louder than opinions, and this time, statistics may have put an end to the debate once and for all. Hip-hop icons Too Short and Fivio Foreign may have leaned towards Kendrick Lamar in the debate over the greatest artist in rap history. However, Drake's artistry has ultimately prevailed, defying every judgment for a specific reason. Among the six hip-hop albums that have surpassed 100 million streams in a day, Drake's 'Certified Lover Boy' (2021), 'Scorpion' (2018), and 'For All the Dogs' (2023) have cornered Lamar’s ‘Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers’ by claiming the top positions

Drake's 'Certified Lover Boy' leads the pack with a record-setting 153 million streams, followed closely by his fifth studio album 'Scorpion' with 132 million streams. Travis Scott's 'UTOPIA' takes the third position with 129 million streams, followed by Drake again for his album 'For All the Dogs' at 109 million streams. In the fifth spot is Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, with his acclaimed album 'Donda' and its 104 million streams, and rounding out the list is Lamar's 'Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers' with 100 million streams.

With four out of the top six albums claimed by the reputed Canadian, the chart has prompted Drake's fans to rally in anticipation of his reclaiming the title of the king of hip-hop.
