Taylor Swift is on a roll with her latest Eras Tour. The singer’s sixth tour is just miles away from becoming the highest-grossing tour of all time. However, the pop sensation has no plans of stopping anytime soon. Meanwhile, her enormous cultural, global, and musical impact will soon become the subject of a prestigious academic conference by the University of Melbourne. The university will host an event to dive deeper into the “Swift” phenomenon. Backed by seven prestigious Universities across New Zealand and Australia, the study will analyze every detail about Swift. 

As per the website, the critical study will cover multiple aspects ranging from her fandom to her impact on pop culture, literature, and the economy. The prestigious academic conference is set to commence in Melbourne, spanning over two days. Starting on 11th February, the study will conclude on 13th February, just three days before Swift arrives in Australia. Keeping in mind the amount of impact her tour had on the US economy and the bashing presales the concert movie made prior to its release, studying this ‘Swift phenomenon’ makes complete sense.

After being the talk of the town with her tour, the pop icon seems all set to blow minds with her upcoming movie, which has already surpassed the sales of franchises like Marvel and Star Wars. 

The Eras Tour movie scares off release dates of multiple films

The biggest concert in the world will soon be making its way to the big screens with an exciting movie. The Swifties worldwide are pumped to witness a compilation of the incredible tour all at once. With The Eras Tour movie set to premiere worldwide on 13th October 2023, it has completely reshaped the release schedule this fall. 

The upcoming horror film, The Exorcist, was set to release on Friday, 13th October. However, the slots were shifted for The Eras Tour while The Exorcist‘s release has been scheduled early to 6th October. On the other hand, Ordinary Angels also moved its release date from 13th October. Indeed Swift’s movie has been scaring people off even before its release on the silver screen.
