Taylor Swift has done it again. Just days after the singer-songwriter was spotted having a girl’s night at the 81st annual Golden Globe Awards, she has ended up in the spotlight once again. While her appearance at the ceremony ended up starting a couple of rumors, the 34-year-old has distracted everyone with one simple yet surprising trip that she took to New York.

The ‘Story of Us’ singer ended up causing speculations that her recent trip could have something to do with her working on another re-release. However, it could also be new music.

Just days after her Golden Globes snub, Taylor Swift left Los Angeles to head to New York. While most people would have expected her trip to be for pleasure, the singer ended up visiting the Electric Lady Studios in her free time. She was spotted out and about in a green sweater dress and a gorgeous chestnut brown double-breasted wool coat by Stella McCartney.

Her outfit ended up stealing the spotlight. However, that did not last long. Once news broke that the singer was back in a recording studio, all hell broke loose online. While it might have just been a casual trip to check the place out, fans started speculating that she could be working on her ‘reputation’ re-release. So far, the 34-year-old has not disclosed any plans for a new album.

While the ‘Midnight Rain’ singer seemed to have taken her recent snub rather well, her fans have still not gotten over it just yet.

Taylor Swift’s Golden Globe snub

This year’s Golden Globes were supposed to give the Swifties a historical Taylor Swift moment. However, that did not end up happening. The pop sensation’s Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour had been nominated in the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement category, but she ultimately ended up losing the title to Greta Gerwig’s Barbie. It was the only award of the night that she had been nominated for, and once the winner was revealed, the singer chose to leave the party early.

While her night may not have ended quite the way she would have liked, the beginning of the event did not impress her much either. Although she never commented on the jokes made by the host, Ko Joy, it was evident that she was not too pleased by his cutaways joke. However, instead of apologizing, the comedian only added to it by trying to defend his joke.
