“Big 3”- Fans Nod in Approval as Future, Yeat and Ye Tie In a Coveted Record of the Year
One does not need to take a second glance at the happenings of 2024 to notice just how monumental it has been for Hip-Hop. From the return of Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, to Eminem and Will Smith, the scene was buzzing all year round. While Drake and Kendrick Lamar overpowered the discussion with their feud, the two of them are nowhere to be seen as Ye ties with Yeat and Future for one of the greatest records of the year.
With Ye dropping not one but two volumes of 'Vultures', and a third supposedly in the making, the artist prevailed on the Billboard 200 charts not once but twice in the Top 5 arena. Yeat and Future too achieved the same feat, making them the only artists this year to do so.

Talks of 'Vultures' and its second volume had been making rounds owing to the three-volume promise of the rapper. However, it could not enjoy its stay in the Top 5 for long, owing to Ye's disputes with streaming services. Yeat, on the other hand, earned the first number-one album of his career with 'Lyfestyle'.
Although the rappers do not have a fanbase that necessarily collides, the entirety of Hip-Hop gathered to marvel at the masterpiece.
Yeat, Ye, and Future reunite Hip-Hop in celebration
A tight-knit community, otherwise, Hip-Hop experienced quite a few turbulences this year as controversies involving some of its biggest names surfaced. Top it up with a feud between two of the most popular rappers in recent times, and we have a coup brewing. However, the news of Yeat, Ye, and Future tying for a record seems akin to an ode to different generations of Hip-Hop and fans are all for it.
Fans remarked at how this achievement by Ye is just him being in his true element, which as witnessed by his overseas endeavors, he definitely seems to be this year.
