Big Labels Look Away as Kanye West Plans to Distribute His New Album, 3 Years After Donda

Just when fans are closer to getting another such iconic album, the rapper does not have the support of big labels in distribution.

Billboard sources recently revealed that the former billionaire and his collaborator, Ty Dolla $ign are looking for distributing partners. In fact, the duo has taken five different offers under consideration for the release already. As per one source, the music mogul will “make a decision soon,” while another revealed how the album release was originally going to release on October 13. Before any distributor goes ahead with one of the ‘Famous’ rappers’ best work in the last 5 years post ‘Ye,’ they need to weigh down the pros and cons.
This will mark the first release since he called upon the fury of people on himself with antisemitic remarks. The controversy has certainly affected his image in the industry and some label leaders do not want to partner with him tells Billboard. But the singer still has options and companies like Too Lost made an offer to him. This is the same distribution and publishing company that holds the rights to his music on YouTube.
The outlet also pointed out the reason why major brands are staying out of the deal. And all of that narrows down to his infamous controversies.
