She penned a lengthy caption, highlighting the substantial effort and hard work put into making the documentary film a success. She also expressed her overwhelming gratitude for the love and support Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé received, not only from the audience but also from critics. 

The impact of the Renaissance movie extended beyond Beyoncé’s usual audience. It introduced her work to a new audience who were not initially interested in her music. Beyoncé also excitedly mentioned that the film has reached the #1 spot at the box office and earned a perfect 100 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Despite the feat, Beyoncé’s movie paled in comparison to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour film.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour documentary brought about an evolution in the theatrical landscape. Fans who missed the live Eras Tour experience, turned the theatres into concert spaces, belting out Taylor Swift’s songs at the top of their lungs. This fervor translated into an opening earning of $92.8 million, which not only outshone Beyoncé’s debut but also left other artists’ concert films in the dust, as per a report of Film Updates on X, formerly Twitter.

The other artists with the most amount of earnings were Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, and One Direction. While Taylor Swift shined at the top spot, Cyrus received a second spot with $31,1 million, followed by Justin Bieber, Beyoncé, and One Direction with $29, $21, and $15 million respectively. Though Swift continues to support the ‘Lemonade’ creator, so far, she is still the undisputed artist in terms of concert films.
