In the bustling corridors of the music industry, where the young clamber for a spotlight and the old dig in their heels to keep it, the real spectacle unfolds in the fine print: songwriting credits. Imagine the collective gasp when fans were asked to believe that Baby Keem, the lyrical 'prodigy,' penned Kendrick Lamar’s 'Swimming Pools', now that is one hard pill to swallow.

No one needs to choke on this rumor, however, courtesy of KonnyTalks, an X account that mostly posts satirical content. This fabricated tale sent the Internet into hysterics not because Baby Keem lacked talent, but because, at the time, he was barely old enough to write his own name, let alone a hit.

To further add a layer of hilarity to the entire ordeal was the fact that, in this fabricated tale, Baby Keem had written the song for Minecraft. While all the characters of this tale may be fictional, the Internet had a field day as they imagined an eleven-year-old Baby Keem writing a song about alcohol consumption.

Unveiled Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem collaboration leaves the Internet reeling

Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem have collaborated multiple times over the years, resulting in hit tracks such as 'family ties' and 'range brothers'. Moreover, the two are also related by blood, adding an extra dynamic layer to these collaborations paralleling the master and prodigy duo of Ye and Travis Scott. Given that most of their team-ups have been a hit, that a false story of Baby Keem taking credit for 'Swimming Pools' would also be a hit, albeit in the most hilarious way, did not come as a surprise.

Fans further added another layer to the story as they joked about how Baby Keem had also written 'The Art of Peer Pressure' and more Kendrick Lamar songs after completing his homework.

The comedy of errors that ensued from the post is a testament to just how hilarious their fanbase is.
