Taylor Swift took her Eras Tour to Melbourne and hosted a staggering 96,000 strong fans at each of her three-day long stretch. Close on the heels of the singer reacting to a video of a Swiftie breaking down at the stadium, a photographer named Nick has come forth with another positive tale. He shared an incident when, despite her busy schedule, she took more than an hour out of her day to sign and greet the photographers, including him, winning him over.
After a hectic day of shoot, the person narrated how Taylor Swift readily signed on any merchandise while offering them extra compensation for the extra time they had stayed. He recalled how “after an entire day of shooting,” the singer shook hands and thanked every one of them. Additionally, her team also handed out signed letters and gift cards as a token of appreciation, turning him “from a hater to a fan”.
Along the lines of such interactions, the ‘1989’ singer also broke one of her rules for her upcoming shows.

At the start of the Eras Tour in 2023, Taylor Swift etched an unwritten rule to not play any surprise song from one Eras Tour show at another. While it ensured a continuous flow of favorites from her ‘Vaults’ section, it also kept fans devoid of adapted favorites. Most recently, when she played a three-song medley during the Melbourne concerts, fans worldwide clamored for the same.
Perhaps taking a note from it, Swift announced doing away with the rule. Henceforth, for her upcoming Eras Tour shows such as the one in Sydney, she will not hesitate to repeat previously played surprises or make any changes whenever she feels the need to, kick-starting a new era for the remainder of her tours.
