Taylor Swift's fans are eagerly anticipating the announcement of ‘Reputation (Taylor’s Version)’ on July 17, convinced by what they believe are unmistakable Easter eggs. Meanwhile, the pop star has added to the reasons with a recent report from Chart Data on X confirming that every song from her album ‘Reputation’, released in 2017, has sold over 1 million units each in the US. The last song to hit this milestone was ‘So It Goes…’.

The timing of this achievement, just before July 17—also known as National Snake Day—seems too coincidental, prompting some to speculate that the universe, not Swift, is dropping Easter eggs this time, reinforcing fans' hopes for the rest of the year. Although a supposed hint during her Milan show amidst the piano malfunction left some fans disappointed, they remain hopeful for the big announcement.

During the recent Milan shows of the Eras Tour, Taylor Swift performed two unexpected mashups during the secret song segment, including a medley of ‘Getaway Car’ and ‘Out of the Woods’. Fans believe this performance of tracks from ‘Reputation’ and ‘1989’ signals that Swift is transitioning from ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ to ‘Reputation (Taylor’s Version)’. Another clue fans point to is the pleated blue dress Swift wore in both the ‘Out of the Woods’ and ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ music videos.

To add to that, she has intriguingly worn blue for all her surprise songs on the tour. While fans initially thought a piano glitch during the Milan show was a ‘Reputation’-coded hint, an even bigger glitch occurred at her London show, where her image on the big screens froze, making her look like the zombie in ‘Look What You Made Me Do’. Hence, for fans still skeptical, all they need to do is keep an eye out for Swift updates as she bolsters her reputation in the act of surprise with the impending release of ‘Reputation (Taylor’s Version)’.
