Through the years, Kanye West has proved himself to be a fashion genius. From his conversation-starting facemasks to his ever-growing Yeezy collections, the rapper has built quite the empire. Although Ye may no longer be teamed up with Adidas, that has not stopped the 46-year-old from adding new additions to his already popular brand. While he might be focused on his plans for the company, his fans have had questions about the availability of the artist's previously released Yeezy 500s.

With Adidas continuing to put out creations of West and releasing a new variant of the iconic shoes, here's everything you need to know about the rapper's Yeezy product.

In 2013, Kanye West and Adidas teamed up to bring the fashion brand, Yeezy, to life. Although their partnership was filled with numerous highs, it did not end up lasting because of the 46-year-old's controversial behavior. While the contract was terminated, the apparel company was stuck with nearly 1.3 billion worth of the rapper's creations. Amidst all the products was the iconic all-white Yeezy 500. Most recently, a new version of the shoe with a new color called stone taupe was released on the company's website.

Apart from the new shoes, there were other versions for children that made their way online. With the classic look never going out of fashion, it is no wonder that the shoes have been available on the Adidas website since its release in 2019. While the apparel brand seems to be trying its hardest to leave its collaboration with the father of four behind, Ye ended up taking to social media to call out the brand for continuing to profit off him after they parted ways.

Ye might not be too happy with Adidas' latest plans to continue rolling out his creations. However, the German athleisure brand has revealed that they will not be keeping the profits for themselves. 

In 2022, Adidas chose to terminate its partnership with Kanye West over his rather controversial behavior and unsavory opinions. While they officially went their separate ways, the German company was still stuck with a load of Yeezy products. Although the plan was to initially dump the shoes or donate them, the brand seemed to come up with a better option. After wrapping up a few Yeezy drops, they announced plans to donate $150 million to various anti-hate groups.

The brand is already shelling out a pretty large sum to various other charities like the Anti-Defamation League and the Philonise and Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change. Although it might only be a part of their profits, there is no doubt that it could amount to much more if Adidas continues its Yeezy rollout.
