Kanye West is one of the biggest artists in the music industry. Right since the late 90s, the artist has slowly grown his empire. From reality TV to his Yeezy collaboration, the rapper has made sure that he would be immortalized through his music. He even built one of the largest fan bases in the world that supports him no matter what the endeavor. But that does not keep the artist away from the usual online conspiracies.

With the level of fame that West has achieved, it is not surprising that he has friends who are pretty big in the industry too. That is why it came as no surprise when this rapper released a song named, ‘Kanye West’.

Back in 2016, when Kanye West was still at the top of his game, a friend of the artist, Young Thug released his fourth studio album, ‘JEFFERY’. But what caught the fans’ attention was a song named ‘Kanye West’ featuring Jean Wyclef. While the album became known as Young Thug’s best album so far, the song faded more into the background.

One year before the album dropped, Young Thug mentioned in an interview that he saw West as a sort of older brother, and implied that the two were friends. But post his appearance on ‘Donda’, there has been nothing to imply that the two are still friends.

While no one is sure about what is going on between the two rappers, one thing is clear, Ye has been keeping a low profile through all of this.

Kanye West ignores Young Thug

Back in June of this year, Twitter was in a bit of a frenzy when Young Thug took to the platform to “get in touch” with West about some business prospects. But West did not answer the rapper’s call, which instigated a Twitter rant.

While no one knows what the two spoke about, fans might not be wrong to assume that there could be another album in the works, considering this update about Kanye West. But fans may never find out, considering how tight-lipped the rapper has been since his marriage to Bianca Censori. But with there being a rumor that West may be dropping some new music, fans’ attention has been grabbed once again, and hopefully this time they get a proper release.
