Amidst 'Vultures 2' Disappointment, Ye’s ‘No Face’ Verse for Ghostface Killah Garners Mixed Reactions From Fans
Ye (formerly known as Kanye West), is doing just about everything under the sun except dropping that long-awaited 'Vultures 2' album. Fans are chomping at the bit for some new tunes, but all they are getting are persistent Bianca Censori controversies, random collaborations, and just when you thought it could not get any worse, adult films. As uncertainty dwells on the sequel to his game-changing' album, Ye has got something else for his fandom. However, it seems unsure if fans have an appetite for it.
Ghostface Killah has released his latest album, 'Set the Tone,' which features a track with the 'Donda' rapper called 'No Face'. The album, released on May 10th, also includes features from Nas, Method Man, Jim Jones, Raekwon, Fat Joe, and several other artists. This song marks their fifth feature collaboration over the years.

Ye West has long been an admirer and supporter of Ghostface's work. In 2021, Ghostface announced that West would be an executive producer on his album 'Supreme Clientele 2', alongside Mike Dean and Producer Pluguni. The Stem Player, a music streaming platform and audio remix device developed by West and Kano Computing, has also featured content from Ghostface Killah.
'No Face' has been well-received by hip-hop fans but not by the Ye fandom. The latest drops have been met with a resounding 'meh'. Amidst his upcoming collaborations, Yeezy fans are swinging between whether to settle for this or hold on to their last hopes of 'Vulture 2'. Regardless, they're not afraid to label his latest work as 'mid' until he delivers the goods.
Ye's latest drop leads the rapper nowhere close to fans' taste and has only added to their frustration.
Fans stay divided to the latest Ye release
It does not come as a major shock to fans as they are now quite accustomed to Ye’s random letdowns. While a majority of them as labeled it as just another “mid” Ye release, a couple of them have been heartily disappointed. What did come as a surprise though, was how some of Yeezy’s loyal legion still found 'No Face' appealing.
"Worst verse," said an user from his experience of listening to Ye.
