Amidst ‘Vultures 2’ Anticipation, Ye Hints at Something Big With His 88-Keys Setup
'Vultures 1', the brainchild of Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, took flight straight to the peak of the Billboard 200 chart upon its release and is still coasting high at the prestigious No. 3 spot. However, despite Ye's promise of a triple treat, including a sequel to 'Vultures,' there has been no scent of the anticipated album as fans approach the end of March. Ye had teased that 'Vultures 2' would drop on March 8, but it seems much like ‘Vultures 1’, the sequel will also follow “Kanye time”.
With fans on the edge of their seats waiting for the album, Ye added some spice to their anticipation with a recent story.

Kanye West has had plenty of successful collaborations in his career, and one of the most popular ones is with record producer and rapper 88-Keys. Ye co-executively produced 88-Keys' debut album 'The Death of Adam'. Recently, Ye shared an Instagram story featuring a screenshot of an image sent to him by 88-Keys. The picture showcased a musical setup with three keyboards stacked vertically.
Even though the story did not come with any caption or statement, it definitely raises questions about whether both rappers are cooking up something together. Then again, it could simply be Kanye West giving a shoutout to 88-Keys for something the latter is working on. Well, only time will reveal the truth. Meanwhile, Ye's 'Vultures 2' finally got a launch date after some dissapointing delays.
Following the missed release date of March 8, there is now confirmation of a potential new release date for 'Vultures 2', along with hints that the third volume might also be delayed.

A fresh official debut date for the second volume has been circulating on social media, pointing towards a potential drop on May 3rd. Despite the absence of an official statement, a conversation screenshot with Ye hinted at the album's progress, suggesting it is currently in the "lab now". It looks like both Ye and Ty Dolla $ign might be putting the finishing touches on the album for a May debut.
This, however, also brings up the question of what happens to the release of the third volume, which was supposed to come out on April 5. It does not seem likely that Ye would release the third volume before the second one. Therefore, it is safe to assume that, like the first two volumes, the third volume will also keep fans waiting for quite a while.
