The historic night for Taylor Swift to possibly bag the non-music category at the 81st Golden Globe Awards has begun, but without her beau, Travis Kelce’s presence. What should have been a lively evening of expecting accolades, however, turned into a churning moment of brush-offs and dead stares. While Jo Koy has not done justice to his comedy parlance with buzzing fans showering in with expressions of disappointment, Taylor Swift seemed to be in the same boat with the audience.

Jo Koy turned the Golden Globes into a roast session of high-profile stars. And after Robert de Niro, his sweeping target came upon Swift. Koy said, “The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL? At the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift.”. In her response, the songstress could be seen sipping on her glass of wine with an icy gaze while exhibiting absolute indifference. Like the fans, Taylor Swift too, looks not so easy to crack up.

Having said that, apart from her steely gaze, Swift made sure that all eyes were on her with her sparkly outfit. Serving the straight out of a fairy tale vibe, she donned a custom-made Gucci dress. While Jo Koy failed to woo Swift with his jestful tactics, the singer, on the other hand, swept the red carpet with her wardrobe choices and tasteful gestures. 

Amidst all these buzzing declarations, one thing that went amiss was Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce. But reports suggest that he had a good enough reason for missing out on her big day.

Taylor Swift’s glory run transcended the barriers of musical legacy. With her Golden Globes nomination, the expectation that took the most round of bids was Travis Kelce’s attendance alongside her on the red carpet. However, owing to Kelce’s Los Angeles match against the Chargers, the starry moment could not be captured. As per reports, the Chief’s tight end was benched at the game.

Despite his honest efforts, the much-awaited moment to capture the pair at the award ceremony remains unfruitful. Nevertheless, knowing that the lovebirds are in for a long game, this would not be the only event of honor that either Swift or Kelce parades. Hence, it can be expected that soon enough, the duo will be spotted, hand-in-hand, supporting each other through Jo Koy’s roasts and, well, for their own victory run.
