Interestingly, West had completed his part of the beats for the song in under fifteen minutes. Signifying its dominance, ‘Otis’ climbed up the charts and was lapped up for its catchy and resounding vocals. About a decade later, the song has now crossed two hundred million streams on Spotify, underlining its creative feat.

The song even had a rich production video involved. Featuring guests like Otis and Aziz Ansari, supercars, and luxury, it became a hip-hop sensation. The song would stay on fans’ playlists as the last Jay-Z and Kanye West collaboration until they both returned for a single in West’s ‘Donda’ album nearly a decade later. The music has since become a testament to the power of the duo’s collaboration and a symbol of Ye’s musical prowess.

Notably, this news is coming right at a time when multiple sources and rumors have confirmed that Kanye West’s next album after ‘Donda’ is nearly ready.

Kanye West soon to drop next album after two years of ‘Donda’?

While West was in Japan for about a month earlier this year, rumors surrounded that the rapper was secretly collaborating with local artists. Later, not so long ago, the rapper marked a concert comeback when he took the stage at Travis Scott’s ‘Utopia’. However, fans are still left in the lurch waiting for some original music from Ye himself. Now, as the rapper is currently nestled in Italy, reliable leaks and claims have pointed to Ye and his team rehearsing a “finished” album.

West’s last album ‘Donda’ was released amidst much fanfare about two years ago. It was soon outclassed by Drake’s ‘Certified Lover Boy’. Therefore, Kanye West must be on the lookout to claim his musical throne back. As such, his latest album is the one that shall serve the purpose. Along with the rumors, the presence of noted and frequent West collaborators such as CyHi the Prynce’s presence in Italy has laid credence to the claims.
