Amidst Return Rumours, Kanye West’s Grammy Award Winning 2019 Album Reaches a Major Breakthrogh
When Kanye West makes music, it does not see an end. The hip-hop artist is known as one of the greatest musicians of today, and certainly the most decorated ones. He brought a revolution in this musical genre, with the mainstream use of technologies, with a sophisticated style of rap that showed both in his lyrics and his style. Instead of wearing baggy pants and chains, he went for suits and shoes, which grabbed public attention. The aesthetics matched with artful visuals and collaborations produced timeless music.
West released his ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ album back in 2010. It was one of the biggest albums that fans still listen to, helping it top the charts. As per a tweet by ChartData, the hit album has reentered Billboard’s Top 200 list, nearly 13 years after its original release. It proves the impact that he had on the fans and that Ye’s efforts were fruitful.

Ye reportedly spent $3 million to make the album, by collaborating with a long list of artists, both old and new. The album was recorded in Honolulu, Hawaii, as he flew rappers to the spot for each of their songs in the album. Kid Cudi, Elton John, Rick Ross, Pusha, etc., were part of it. He made arrangements for their stay, along with a gaming area and a basketball court.
In return, they created an album that helped West win his eighteenth Grammy Award under the ‘Best Rap Album’ category. The love and appreciation from fans have kept it trending as they celebrate its success.
Music Twitterati reacts to the continued success of ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ by Kanye West
‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ by Kanye West has thirteen songs. It also has an iTunes bonus called ‘See Me Now’ and a deluxe track ‘Runaway’. For some fans, it is the best album of all time, while one fan called Ye a GOAT for his work.
One track ‘Monster’ was made in collaboration with Nicki Minaj, and some are crediting her for the album’s resurfacing. Right now, the ‘Anaconda’ rapper is trending because Azealia Banks criticized her for being a ‘trash collaborator’.
A fan also compared Ye’s album success to Taylor Swift, but another quickly pointed out how she could not pull off an album like this.
But for many people, it is nostalgia that brings them back to the album. Through time, it has still remained a ‘timeless classic.’
