The Kanye West-Adidas fallout is perhaps one of the most talked about topics in recent times. We are no strangers to the drama that evolved after the rapper parted ways with the German shoemaking brand. However, a few months later, things took a complete turnaround. Following severe losses and massive stock of unsold Yeezy merchandise lying in their warehouses, Adidas entered into an agreement with Ye.

Meanwhile, amidst all the drama surrounding the reconciliation, a rare Yeezy shoe makes its way back to the markets.

This Yeezy makes a ‘rare’ comeback along with Ye-Adidas deal

Not long ago, Adidas entered into a deal with Kanye West yet again. The German shoe brand will make all the existing Yeezy merchandise available in the markets whilst giving the rapper a portion of the sales. The lineup of shoes that will be available in the market includes restocks of some old classics and never seen before products, too. However, among the plethora of options, the iconic Yeezy Boost 350 Pirate Black is also making its return to the market. The Pirate Black was perhaps one of the most popular shoes released during the Kanye-Adidas collaboration.

Not long ago, a user on Twitter, Brandon, confirmed the news. He also shared a number of images of the upcoming Pirate Black model. Meanwhile, there seems to be no difference between the latest picture and the original version released back in 2015. Reports by SneakerNews suggest that there is no official release date as of late.

However, it is highly unlikely of the shoes to hit the stores before 31st May. The Pirate Black model will be available for a market retail price of $200. Apart from Pirate Black, other products that will be returning to the markets include the Turtle Dove colorway released recently in June 2022. This comes after news of Ye filing trademark for a new product of his own came out.

Interestingly enough, despite the struggles of selling Yeezy, Adidas announced that proceeds from the upcoming Yeezy sale will be up for donation.

Where will the proceeds from Kanye West’ share be donated?

As we all know, not long ago Adidas announced that they would be amending their partnership with the Grammy winning rapper. While the brand agreed to give a share from Yeezy sales to West, it came with a catch. Interestingly, the brand planned to donate some portion of Ye’s proceeds to charities.

It seems like Adidas plans to get back at the rapper for his antisemitic comments. As surprising as it sounds, Adidas will donate the proceeds from West’s share to organizations fighting against antisemitism. Some of the organizations include the anti-defamation league and the Philonise & Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change.
