Kanye West’s collaboration with another one of hip-hop’s biggest was a very big turnover. In 2016, just as the ‘Donda’ singer was gearing up to launch his highly successful ‘The Life of Pablo’ album, Kendrick Lamar joined him in the studio. In a promotional single, the duo released ‘No More Parties in LA,’ on January 18, 2016. As of today, the very same song has crossed more than 200 million streams on Spotify.

Furthermore, the single has become the 55th such track from the rapper to have achieved this feat. The Lamar-West special was released on Martin Luther King Day. The calming beats along with the unmatched duet of two of the most iconic rappers instantly made the song a chart-topper. Moreover, this release paved the way for a massively positive reception of ‘The Life of Pablo’ which has taken its place as one of the best West albums to date.
