Amid Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ Success, Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ Beats the Likes of Miles Cyrus and One Direction to the Top Spot
Over the years, there have only been two female artists in the music industry who have had unparalleled success. Taylor Swift and Beyoncé have, time and time again, proved that they are a notch above the rest. However, with both artists putting out concert films one after the other, their popularity is being checked by the way their films are done. While the pop sensation’s tour documentary ended up breaking records the day it came out, it has now landed another huge achievement.
In fact, not only did her Eras Tour beat Queen Bey’s Renaissance for the top spot, but also other artists like One Direction and Miley Cyrus.

In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), it was recently revealed that Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour had raked in 92.8 million dollars during its opening weekend. While Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, and One Direction made their way onto the list with their concert films, the pop sensation’s earnings were way above the rest. Cyrus’ film, Best of Both Worlds, which was second on the list, only brought in 31.1 million dollars.
After the ‘Flowers’ singer was Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never with 29 million dollars. While the films may have been huge when they came out years ago, Swift’s film ended up dominating all of them. Even Beyoncé’s Renaissance wound up ranking at number 4 with 21 million dollars. The last one on the list was This Is Us from the former boy band, One Direction.
The news of the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer’s achievement came just days after she had made her way to the 42-year-old’s concert film premiere.

While the world might see Taylor Swift and Beyoncé as rivals, the two women have constantly supported each other. From the ‘Drunk In Love’ artist’s heartwarming moment at the 2009 VMAs to Taylor Swift now supporting the star with her first ever concert film, Renaissance. The 33-year-old singer even took to her Instagram to share a picture of them at the premiere.
In her post, she revealed that “The Queen” had invited her to London to join her for the opening night. Both the stars could be seen wearing fancy and glittery gowns that stole the attention of the red carpet in the pictures that made their way online. It came merely a month after Swift’s premiere in Los Angeles, which the former Destiny’s Child member attended.
