Ahead of the Promised ‘Vultures’ Release, Another Music Producer Sparks Collaboration Rumors With Kanye West
No artist in the music industry has ever managed to capture public attention quite like Kanye West. From his controversial behavior to his lyrical genius, the 46-year-old has constantly been in the public eye for something or the other. Just a year ago, it was for his erratic behavior online. However, most recently it has been for his highly anticipated album, ‘Vultures’.
The album had already faced multiple delays in the last few months. However, fans are still extremely excited about its release. Although it was set to drop online in only 5 days, there was a new addition to the collaborators’ list and another delay.

In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), it was revealed that Kanye West had a new collaborator. Vanessa Beecroft had shared a surprising picture online that sent fans into a frenzy. It was just a picture of a man completely covered up in the studio. However, it was rumored to be the American music producer Mike Dean. While he and Ye have collaborated many times over the years, the sudden team-up came as a surprise.
Although it has not yet been officially confirmed, the producer gave in to the rumors in his own social media post. He shared a now-deleted story of him blinking twice. It came shortly after his fans asked him whether he was working with the rapper or not. Dean also ended up adding fuel to the fire. He liked a fan’s comment online that read, “Work with ye again, the album keeps getting delayed because you ain’t there smh.”
While another collaboration between the two icons could give fans an unforgettable album, a new collaborator being added so late could explain why the ‘Vulture’s release has been pushed back once again.
Is Mike Dean’s addition to Vultures the reason for the latest delay?
This entire year, Kanye West has dominated headlines with the promise of new music. While he lived up to it by giving his fans a couple of tracks like ‘Dear Summer’ and ‘Vultures’, he has been holding the rest back. Although the Ty Dolla $ign collaboration album was supposed to drop on December 15th, it ended up being pushed to the end of the year, December 31st, 2024.

Just days ago, it was revealed that the Yeezy creator had decided to push the album back once again. Now, with the news of a brand new collaborator in the mix, ‘Vultures’ will supposedly be released on streaming platforms only on January 12th, 2024. While that might not be too much of a wait, fans are already antsy given the rapper’s tradition of pushing back albums due to delays.
