Now, with the Super Bowl season officially over, it looks like the roles may be getting reversed. While the Kansas City Chiefs tight end had already planned to join the pop sensation during the European leg of The Eras Tour, it looks like those plans might be happening sooner than Swifties had initially anticipated.

Although everyone expected to see the athlete join his girlfriend later on, Kelce’s father ended up teasing the possibility that his son could end up in Sydney.

Will Travis Kelce join Taylor Swift in Sydney?

Just a day ago, Taylor Swift wrapped up the Melbourne part of her Australia tour. While she was seen getting on her private jet, the singer could be seen wearing the merch of Travis Kelce’s NFL team. It looked as though Swift missed her beau and maybe he caught wind of it; at least his father did. In an interview on Australia’s The Today Show, Ed Kelce dropped a bomb on fans when he teased that his younger son might be joining his girlfriend in Sydney.

He said that he had “heard a rumor” about the younger Kelce jetting off to Australia, but he was not sure. Ed also added, “I wouldn’t be surprised if he does.” While that might be enough to send Swifties into a frenzy, there has still been no confirmation that he would be joining the singer. However, it would be a dream come true for most fans to sneak a few glimpses of the stars together.

After all, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was last seen at Swift’s Eras Tour quite a while ago now. However, it seemed to leave a lasting impression.

Travis Kelce graced Taylor Swift’s Argentina show

Back in November of last year, Taylor Swift made her way to Argentina for The Eras Tour. While her parents had joined her as always, there was another familiar face in the VIP seats. It was none other than the singer’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce. From singing in the stands to holding up a signboard to surprise the pop sensation, the 34-year-old athlete did it all. However, the highlight of the night ended up being how the couple interacted with each other backstage.

After the performance was over, Kelce made his way backstage to tell Swift what a wonderful job she had done. While both of them were all smiles as soon as they saw each other, their moment together was taken to a whole new level when the ‘Ours’ singer jumped into his arms and locked him in with a smooch. If fans are lucky, they could see something similar happen in Europe, or maybe in Sydney.
