Ahead of a Line-Up of ‘Vultures’ Listening Parties, Ye Makes Another Social Media Move
The mind of Ye, formerly Kanye West, is as fluent in music as it is unpredictable. The 46-year-old made a triumphant comeback to the musical arena after a long gap with his Ty Dolla $ign collaboration in the form of three volumes of ‘Vultures’. Although only one of those has ever dropped since the announcement, it has not stopped the rapper duo from charting high and making major announcements on social media.
Close on the heels, after releasing a slew of dates to hold listening parties for his album, the ‘Donda’ singer has made some flip-flops on Instagram with the latest coming as recently as today.

Right during the end of March, Ye made major moves on his Instagram handle. The rapper not only partook in the ongoing beef between Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and J. Cole, but also put forth his claims as the “goat”. Yet, not more than a day later, he deactivated his handle, puzzling fans worldwide. Additionally, he did not even take to X during this time of unexplained absence. However, just a few hours ago, again without any explanation, he reactivated his Instagram account @ye.
A plain white background serves as his profile picture with not a single post made so far. Regardless, he still retains his over 20 million followers and, despite not posting any story about the flip-flop decision, few theories have surfaced online. Fan forums on X and Reddit likened Ye’s disappearance on social media to him avoiding the ongoing dissing, whereas others believed it came as a crackdown from Instagram itself when the rapper went on a rant about his legal name change.
With Ye returning to social media, all eyes await him staying true to his promises of the announced concerts.

A massive success came running with ‘Vultures 1’ when it marked one of the biggest hip-hop sales of the year. Thereafter, ‘Carnival’ from the album went on to mark resounding highs even as it faced a slew of big-ticket releases from the likes of Ariana Grande and Beyoncé. However, a major disappointment came when ‘Vultures 2’ went on an unreasoned delay past its drop date of March 8. To mitigate this, the rapper duo had some plans.
Ye and Ty Dolla $ign announced a chain of ‘Vultures 1’ and ‘Vultures 2’ listening parties starting from April 7 up to April 20. Set to start from Nashville, the tour of sorts will have them travel to Pittsburgh, Washington, Charlotte, Tampa, and Fort Lauderdale, and culminate strikingly against the backdrop of the Saqqara Pyramids in Egypt, making way for a grand show and preview of music.
