Kanye West, after the series of catastrophic events that unfolded towards the end of last year, for the most part, has been out of the spotlight. However, to say that the rapper is out of sight would be would not be true given his involvement in tons of behind-the-stage works, and of course, lawsuits. It was a lawsuit that ensued a frenzy among media and fans alike that Ye is missing, and months later there is another lawsuit, that is hinting towards a Kanye West comeback.

The first one to give the rapper a hand was none other than Adidas, who the rapper had helped sell $1 Billion worth of shoes. And as they have announced the re-continuation of Yeezy sales, Ye has also gained another clear pass.

When the rapper got ousted for anti-Semitism, cases started piling against him while brand deals erased his name. Once a rapper worth billions, Ye was left struggling even to be on the million list. However, there was one case filed way before the controversy broke out by a production company named Phantom Labs, as per Radar Online. According to them, Ye “had outstanding invoices totaling $6 million,” and the extra $1.1 million was charged for the completed work for an upcoming project. However, they have dropped all charges.

The smooth backtrack seems startling given the massive amount they were demanding from Ye. The company handled Ye’s Sunday Service event, Donda 2 listening party, and his Coachella performance. While they were already neck-deep into his Coachella performance, Ye refused to clear the dues.
