After Taylor Swift, Beyoncé Makes History as She Winds up on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs List
In the world of music, country songs have been getting put down for years. While some people may not be into it, it looks like Beyoncé might be trying to change that with her recent solo singles. Although the singer might be known as a pop singer, she has proved that she is much more than just that. Now, just nine days after she released her song, ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’, the 42-year-old made history as she topped Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Chart.
Queen Bey might be the latest addition to the elite list of female artists. However, Taylor Swift had nabbed the spot long before her.

Earlier this month, Beyoncé debuted two country songs, ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ and ’16 Carriages’, on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Chart. While she may have been a little outside her comfort zone, her hard work seems to have paid off. The first song kicked off its debut at No.2. However, after 19.2 million streams, the song made history for the singer as it made her one of the few women in history to debut at #1 on the list with only singles.
Apart from that, she also became the first black woman to top the country charts. Despite there being various other country singers throughout the years like Shania Twain, Dolly Parton, and more, only Taylor Swift and Kasey Murgaves have managed to find their way to the top of the charts before. The news of Beyoncé’s success comes shortly after it was teased that the mom of three was planning on collaborating with the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer.
After all, Swift and the singer have managed to build quite a repertoire together since they showed their support for each other at their respective concert films.
Beyoncé and Taylor Swift show their love for each other
Last year was a huge year for both Taylor Swift and Beyoncé. With both of them taking the world by storm with their respective concert films, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour and Renaissance, it was no surprise that they were bound to cross paths. However, they ended up doing the unexpected and wound up at each other’s film premiere events.

While the world might have been pitting the two stars against each other like Kanye West did at the 2009 VMA Awards, Swift and Queen Bee proved that they have nothing but love and support to share. With their relationship going to new heights, fans might get the chance to see them top a Billboard Chart together soon.
