While the rapper is said to be happily married, Fox decided to air the intimate details of her love affair with Ye in her memoir.

After her book made its way to the shelves, the model seems to be placing blame on the press for twisting what she said.

Julia Fox says the press makes her “seem dumb”

In an interview with the Independent, Julia Fox opened up about her portrayal in the media. She said that the press “don’t give a sh*t” and that they were just trying to get their “clicks.” While that was the case when she was dating Kanye West, she claimed that it was still happening, just “not all the time.” Fox revealed that in the case of her memoir, they took her words out of context and made her “seem dumb.”

Although she is not surprised by the mistreatment, the Uncut Gems star made it clear that she did not appreciate it. Fox also admitted that she knew that “there were going to be a million sh*tty headlines about Kanye West.” After all, she did mention him in her memoir, Down the Drain. The section that mentions her relationship with the rapper lasted only 6 pages, but that is the section that has been gaining the most traction.

While Julia Fox has talked about her relationship with the Yeezy creator, it came as a surprise to fans when the memoir came out.

Earlier this year, Julia Fox claimed that she would not be writing much about Kanye West as it could lead to some trouble coming her way. However, with Down the Drain out, it is evident that she went back on her words. The couple was together for only a short while, but it was Ye’s most erratic phase yet. While it will give readers a little more insight into the couple’s confusing relationship, it is said to be the “least interesting” part of the memoir.

From a brief depiction of Kanye West to being flattered by the attention he was giving her, she opened up about a lot. In fact, Fox even said that he made her sign an NDA, which led to her decision to break up with him. Ye has not come out with anything to say about the actress’s claims as of yet, and with his conflicting Italy and album schedules, he probably will not.
