The last few months of 2023 have witnessed monumental developments take shape. While Taylor Swift and Beyoncé landed a massive impact with their concert tours and concert movies, the world of hip-hop felt lacking despite recent album releases by the likes of Drake and Nicki Minaj. However, months of longing, expectations, and dejections over failed concerts and speculated announcements finally ended. Continuing the run to an eventful yearly conclusion, the music industry secured another win as Kanye West finally took the stage to preview his ‘Vultures’ album alongside Ty Dolla $ign and a slew of guests barring Playboi Carti.

Amid a string of fresh verses and releases, the events stood delayed by hours, including a no-show by the 27-year-old rapper.

A series of speculation and confusion finally had the ‘Vultures’ listening party go ahead at Wynwood Marketplace in Miami. However, a series of glitches and delays marked the event. While the live stream cameras failed at times, Kanye West himself arrived at the venue about three hours late. The reason for the same was the team waiting for Playboi Carti’s plane to touchdown, which eventually ended in a no-show. Finally, after the event, the ‘Die Lit’ singer arrived and reunited with Ye.

Donning a brown leather outfit with a matching hat and a fur suit, Carti posed alongside West, who took on his trademark all-black attire. Overall, the December 12 event previewed a majority of the completed songs from ‘Vultures’, including the many collaborations. Meanwhile, rappers including Chris Brown, Offset, Kodak Black, Lil Durk, Bump J, and Freddie Gibbs shared the grand stage alongside North and Saint West. Despite the delays, the hype was at its peak as the concert set off with Ye around 3 AM.

The highlights come close to her trip with Ye in Saudi Arabia. That in itself came as a result of North West confiding in Kim Kardashian about preferring to live with her father. Meanwhile, all of it unfolded on the backs of her, sharing plans to take over both of her parents’ businesses. Regardless, a good start has finally come her way with Kanye West at the helm.
