Taylor Swift might be one of the biggest names in the music industry, but time and time again she has proved that she is also one of the most resilient too. After bagging 9 VMAs in one night, the 33-year-old has now broken another record with one of her songs. While it may be a tremendous moment for her and the Swifties, the performer has broken this same record twenty-eight times before.

After her hilarious night at the MTV Video Music Awards this year, Taylor Swift has stunned everyone with a re-released song from ‘Fearless (Taylor’s Version)’. While it may be one of the classics, the record break proves that the song may be an eternal bop.

According to a post from a fan page on X, it was revealed that Taylor Swift had crossed another achievement on Spotify. Her song ‘Love Story (Taylor’s Version)’ has reached five hundred million streams on Spotify. While it was not her first time crossing this milestone, her fandom was still ecstatic about the achievement. So far, the singer has crossed Spotify’s streaming record with 28 different songs over the years.

This time it might mean more to the star as she finally owns her music now. However, she has also set her own records with the ‘Midnights’ album. From the most streamed album in 24 hours to being one of the only females on Spotify’s highest monthly listeners list, Taylor Swift has achieved so much during her time in the spotlight. Most recently, the star took home nine awards after sweeping the VMAs.

Apart from having one of the biggest fandoms in the world and constantly breaking records, Taylor Swift also has a pretty long list of awards and wins up her sleeves.

Taylor Swift sweeps the 2023 VMAs

It seems as though Taylor Swift may have some weird kind of luck when it comes to the VMAs. Last year, she dazzled the stage by being one of the biggest winners of the night. But she outdid herself this year. With 11 nominations and 9 wins, the ‘Eras Tour’ star blew everyone out of the water when she won six awards for her song, ‘Anti-Hero’. The awards were Video of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Cinematography, and Best Visual Effects.

That was not all. After her six wins, the star received three more. One was for the Album of the Year, another for the Artist of the Year, and the final one was for the Show of the Summer. This put her in second place among VMAs’ most-awarded female artists and brought her total VMAs to twenty-three, just 7 awards shy of beating Beyoncé’s record of thirty. But for that, fans may just have to wait for one more award show to roll around.
