After Major Milestone With Kanye West’s ‘Vultures 1’, North West May Soon Debut Her Own Album
In 2023, hip-hop celebrated its 50th year of existence, and a host of new albums and announcements from the likes of Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Travis Scott highlighted that milestone. However, one particularly anticipated album detail came from Kanye West who in his last released volume of ‘Vultures’ alongside Ty Dolla $ign also gave a launchpad space to his daughter, North West. Yet, even as the second volume of it lies in the doldrums, the young prodigy has already crafted something for her own.
In an ambitious leap from an album feature, the oldest child of Ye laid bare her next plans that may have her mirror her father more closely than ever.

Kanye West began his career by freestyling and dropped his debut album, ‘The College Dropout’ in 2004 at 26 years of age. Meanwhile, his daughter, North West, now laid bare her plans to begin work on her debut album, ‘Elementary School Dropout’, when she stands at just 10 years of age. At this point, barring the title, no other details have come forth regarding the same. However, the resemblance in the name as well as the spirits binds the father-daughter duo even closer.
North West talking details of her new album came just a few weeks after her feature on ‘Vultures 1’, ‘Talking/Once Again’ went on to chart on the Billboard Top 100, making her one of the youngest artists ever to hold that kind of record. Moreover, having recently starred in a music video for the same song, North West holds ‘You Don’t Want (North Interlude)’ as another of her credited features on the Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign collaboration.
Regardless of the unexpected announcement, her ambitions or likeness to Ye never faced an iota of doubt.

North West once moved Kanye West to tears when the November 2 episode of The Kardashians aired and featured a segment where Kim Kardashian confessed her daughter wanted to be with his father and not her. The startling revelations then made way for the father-daughter to bond over days in Saudi Arabia, where she learned the intricacies of music, greeted fans, and took an interest in the business side of things.
With her parents commanding multi-million-dollar empires with Yeezy and SKIIMS, North West wants to take over both of the franchises in due time. The level of foresight of passion in North West to stand out of the ordinary remains rare and indeed a glaring reflection of Kanye West himself, who once sat with an over $6 billion valuation.
