After Kanye West Was Sued Over Malibu Mansion Allegations, New Photos of Collapsing House Surface
In recent times, Kanye West has earned himself the title of the king of controversy. Once considered the king of rap, the 46-year-old’s career is now marred by back-to-back allegations. In the latest series of unfortunate happenings, the ‘Donda’ rapper was taken to court over some clashes that occurred during the construction of his beach pad. According to his project manager, he was threatened and left unpaid. The caretaker of the property also claimed that Ye violated labor laws by treating him poorly.
In the midst of all that drama, his isolated property has continued to degrade. And now, the mansion seems to be falling apart.

Recently, The U.S. Sun reported that they had acquired images of West’s Malibu property. The images painted the picture of a barren, rotting property. One snap showed a wall that seemed to have even caved in. Initially, the ‘Graduation’ rapper had intended to turn the same home into a “bomb shelter“. Based on the current predicament of Tony Saxon suing him, it seems unlikely that he will be able to complete it soon.
West wanted the home to reflect an over-a-century-old bunker-like property without any power or windows. It may not agree with the Yeezy founder’s Wabi-Sabi interior preferences, but the derelict estate already reflects the dystopian look of a bomb shelter. But it definitely did not look like a property that Ye once spent $57 million on.
This begs the question of why West would abandon a property that he spent such a staggering amount on.

Besides being embroiled in not one but two lawsuits over his Malibu pad, many other factors have also been at play. After parting ways with Adidas as well as Kim Kardashian, Kanye West abruptly halted the work at the mansion. This was mostly due to the financial burden he was suddenly facing. These and the fact that the father of four took off to travel with Bianca Censori became the reasons for his mansion’s downfall.
Moreover, his own construction company that was building the place shut down in late 2022. Meanwhile, as he prepares to take on the lawsuits he is facing, he himself has set out to sue a social media creator who would often leak his music. Despite all these disappointments, he seems set on launching his new album in the meantime as well.
