Kanye West has dropped from the Forbes billionaire list. But there is one other rapper who has taken his place, still representing rappers on the world’s rich list. It is a known fact that musicians do not make money just by selling albums. Other contributing factors that help accumulate wealth are their different ventures as well. These celebrities often do it through teams who help them invest and be a part of these ventures. Although their main contribution is the influence they hold, which helps sell the brand.

West has certainly helped with a strong influence over his fans and helped him build a nearly $2 billion dollar empire. But controversies and disagreements led to his financial fall. There is one rapper who not only holds his place on the list but has seen an increase in his net worth.

With the decline in Ye’s net worth, Forbes still mentioned him this year. But that is in the list of many billionaires who lost their ninth zero. Meanwhile, it is neither he nor his fellow famous rapper Drake that made it to the billionaire’s list. It is ‘New York’ rapper Jay-Z that maintains his hold, being on the Forbes 2023 billionaire list. His selling around 75 million music copies worldwide is just a bonus to his other ventures. According to Forbes, his net worth has ballooned up to $2.5 billion from the earlier $1.5 billion figure.

Like Ryan Reynolds and George Clooney, Jay-Z also owns a stake in an alcohol brand. It is called Ace of Spades and LVMH holds a 50% stake in it. Plus, he actually sold his D’Usse cognac brand to Bacardi. In addition, he owns a collection of some high-end paintings that make up his net worth.
